Senior LAMP (PHP) developer for community site

We are a music community site offering signed and unsigned bands a place to promote, sell music (to phone and computer) and expand their fan-base.

We are looking for a senior web developer to lead backend programming and class/database design. This role offers you the opportunity to gain invaluable experience developing and maintaining a web application serving thousands of users a day.

Required abilities:
- comfortable on Unix
- object-oriented design
- hand-coded SQL and optimisation
- experience working in a multi-developer environment

Required technical skills:
1. OO-PHP
2. SQL
3. Source Code Management tools (CVS/SVN)
4. Linux
5. Apache

You will be a self-motivated, clear communicator with a strong desire to learn and good attention to detail. This position is full-time, on-site, on a contract basis.

Around £3k/month depending on experience
